Me screw up the gov't? That's unpossible! It's like the bullies who use the 'stop hitting yourself' bit.
It would be nice if we could go back and say 'You ruined the system, so we're taking our money back.' Hey, if they can't make it work, why should they keep their paychecks?
Exactly, Ripley. Why on EARTH vote into government those who profess to hate government? Why elect anyone who indicates he is not suited for governing?
We have seen functioning and well run governments, if not our own, other countries. We know it can work. As I said in an earlier post, it isn't government that's incompetent.
This Bush administration is incompetent.
And I really like the thought of taking back their paychecks...
Maybe billing them all for the wreckage they have caused in the last two terms...

Years ago, a Democratic colleague of mine used to put it this way:
Republicans are the only salespeople in the world who, as a means of increasing the market share of their brand, always badmouth the product itself to the public.
I don't think that approach would sell soap. It shouldn't sell politics, either.
Mapaghimagsik, I really like the idea of billing politicians for their mistakes and waste. That would really clean up the crap that goes on in Washington D.C.
Steve, I just had a horrible thought... what if we as a nation haven't learn a thing from this last two term debacle? What if we still have citizens who think it's a good idea to sent incompetent greedy boobs to Congress? What on earth do we do then?
