Via Booman Tribune:
First they said it was a heart attack, now they say this:
The death of Rep. Paul E. Gillmor, R-Ohio, was ruled accidental Friday by the Arlington County, Va. medical examiner. A spokeswoman for the Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, Northern District of Virginia, said an autopsy determined that the 10-term lawmaker died of a “blunt head and neck trauma.” Gillmor was found dead in his Arlington condominium on Aug. 5.
So....
When will they blame the Clintons?
Update 9/13: Paul Gillmor was found at the bottom of the stairs.

One of the commenters on the BooMan thread:
He's on the House Committee on Financial Services, and the ranking Republican on the Subcommittee on Financial Institutions and Consumer Credit whose duties partly include "oversight over financial regulators,... safety and soundness of the banking system" according to his now scrubbed bio on house.gov
uh oh....
This could get interesting....
The Clintons? what possible motive could either of them have for... oh. Reason not required; the name "Clinton" is sufficient.
Blunt trauma can occur in all sorts of ways... hey, I read lots of murder mysteries... but I won't deny that things could get interesting.
At least he wasn't propped up as a message for those other Republicans who are considering getting out of line...
Or (/discordant organ chord!!)
WAS HE??
Was he found at the bottom of a flight of stairs or what?
The blunt trauma to his head and neck is consistent with a fall, perhaps occurring while suffering a heart attack.
But no news article yet has said WHERE in the apartment the body was found....
I know... let's play Clue! Rep. Gillmor, in the bedroom, with the vibrator... <exceptionally_rude />
I'm wondering if the police will admit there was lipstick on the collar or something like...
No disrespect meant to the man, Mr. Gillmor, the snark is aimed at the Republicans.
The last few years the Republicans have done their level best to prove they are not the party of family values, what with diapers and prostitutes, underage pages and bathroom stalls.
I think that the report should clarify where the body was found and if there was no evidence of anything but natural causes then it should be documented how this conclusion was reached.
Just the facts, ma'am.
