Would Jesus throw?

Dan Savage is a brave dude. Daniel in the lion's den has nothing on him.
Actually, most of the people were quite civil to him.

Yes, he is brave. I'd never be able to be so nicely confrontational like that...

Why is it people who call themselves Christians keep going back to the OLD testament.

Let who is without sin cast the first stone, but do not stone with rocks, stone with cannabis, lest you be stoned likewise.

EVERYBODY must get stoned....

Exactly! And there will be peace. :)

No. We would then go to war over who had the bigger and better stash....

Anonymous said...

No, that does not happen. That's not how it works.

Maybe we would fight over who has the better munchies?

I mean, humans don't really function without the option of TOTAL WAAAAARRRRRRR... but then again, I'm not sure we've ever tried not fighting...

That's the funny thing. It seems we did, at one time. There's lots of evidence in India of a pre-modern civilization, for instance. War happened. It hasn't stopped yet, since the fall. I can't tell you what happened, but I have some ideas. I know what a lot of people have figured out, and some of it I can maybe explain and some of it I can only point and let you figure it out for yourself.

You've been lied to about history quite a bit, just take that for a moment and let it rest. We've all been lied to about a lot of things. We need to figure out what is true.

Even if continuous war during the reign of man is true, it does not mean we can't stop it. It just will be difficult to change the hardwiring of our brains.

How hard is it to take a puff of a joint and go, oh, that's stupid, and stop fighting? Nobody smokes pot to commit violence. People drink and beat their spouses, people smoke pot and relax on the couch.

So we need to light up huge bails of cannabis until they are gently smoking and then drop them from bombers over all of the Middle East and Asia... and especially over the White House.

In the dead of night....

It might work!

No, that won't work either. We have to encourage people to smoke it voluntarily. You can't dose people against their will, that's not cool.

I didn't say this was easy, but I'm not really kidding and that's why I take it somewhat seriously sometimes, but in the short run yeah it's totally impractical to end cannabis prohibition and get world leaders to all pass the peace pipe tomorrow.

It is hard to make this sound sensible to people who don't understand cannabis, how it works to make people more conscious and more peaceful, how it makes for profound silliness but also deep understanding, how it recollects past events and brings about future transformations... I promote it because I believe it is good for the body, mind and soul.

I do prefer vaporizing though, actually. It is much nicer on the lungs not to inhale smoke, and cool vapor is pleasant and not harmful at all.

Yes, you are right, Michael. I have no understanding of cannabis and so make light of it.

That said, may your plans for world peace work because we're running out of ideas.
