I'm afraid that rather than going all new age, I'm rapidly going all old age. :)
I am always amazed at how familiar such music sounds, compared to the earliest notated music in the Western world. I know... ancient alien astronauts must have deposited the same music everywhere their saucers landed.
Holding those long drones is wicked hard on your bow arm. I speak from experience, though not on those particular instruments.
