Andrew Card gets loudly and soundly booed

For more than a solid minute when he gets his honorary degree at University of Massachusetts:

WTF? What did Card do... i.e., how much money did he donate to the school... to warrant giving him an "honorary" degree, and who made the decision?

Considering the students probably worked for their degrees as most of us did, I do not blame them for being angry. After Comey's very credible testimony about the hospital room pressure job, IMHO, the only seat of "honor" that Card should be permitted to occupy is the toilet seat in his jail cell.

That booing did my heart good.

My son heard Al Gore speak recently. The auditorium which held around 10,000 people sold out the tickets within one or two hours from when it went online. The cheering that welcomed Gore went on for a long time and my son said his speech was fantastic.

That does my heart good too.
