And what was the point of this war, exactly?

Top soldiers quit in Afghanistan. The former aide-de-camp to the commander of the British taskforce in southern Afghanistan has described the campaign in Helmand province as “a textbook case of how to screw up a counter-insurgency”.

We apparently have lost Anbar province which is a third of Iraq, even though some pundits cannot admit it.

The Best War Ever!

How did we get from 9/11 to Iraq?

K, when we are done destroying stability in the Middle East, we will set our sights on Africa!

Update: Senator Rockefeller states the obvious. We'd be better off if Saddam was still in power and we had concentrated on weeding out al-Qaeda.
