Dear Attorney General Eric Holder,
We the undersigned citizens of the United States hereby formally petition you to appoint a Special Prosecutor to investigate and prosecute any and all government officials who have participated in torture and other war crimes.

I think we'll have to wait for the FOIA requests from the ACLU, etc. to be fulfilled. Then more details will be made public, hearings will be demanded in congress, and a special prosecutor will be an obvious next step.
Expose the crimes done to the media, let the public anger build, let the cries for a special prosecutor become too loud to ignore, and then let the lawyers off the leashes....
