The cranky old man

Actually forgot who we were fighting and where.

Senator McCain, don't you think it's kinda important to know this when you are trying to be Commander in Chief?

Or are you just planning to bomb everything and everybody flat?

There once was a man whose stupidity was chronic,
For Shias and Sunnis he needed a mnemonic
But early one day,
His brain washed away
By an especially high colonic

(my poetic license is still a learner's permit)

Excellent!

Since Lieberman's very public correction, McCain has once again repeated his manifestly erroneous statement. If he believes that repeating a lie or a disproved statement often enough renders it true, he's definitely GOP presidential material.

sorghum crow, here's an approximation of a limerick someone once told me in helping me to get beyond my learner's permit:

A young meter reader named Peter
Once happily read a gas meter.
Despite his desire,
The meter caught fire,
Destroying not only the young meter reader named Peter,
   but also, unsurprisingly... the meter.

S.C., you have obvious talent. More, please!

Lol, Steve!

I remember one about a bomb going off and ruining the end of the poem...
