It's ridiculous. In Texas, I had to present my voter reg. certificate AND my Texas DL or other photo ID (NOT including college student IDs); in the primaries, I also had to sign and initial a form attesting that my middle initial "S" (voter cert.) and middle name "Scott" (driver license) were really the same, even though the state itself chose the form of the name on both cards. They really don't want Dems to vote here.
I'd have a hell of a time with my name, variations of initials and first name appear on my passport, license, etc etc. I'd need a file to prove who I am.
