Remembering St. Ronnie...

In all his glory.

Here.

And here.

I wonder if history books will list these 'accomplishments'....

History will remember, just no one else will talk about it..unless we keep it front and center. Gawd knows the GOP freaks try like hell to keep it buried. St Ronnie of Cali was a horrible man.

I'll never forget the story (which I can't find on the 'net at the moment) of a "friend" of Ronnie's who had him as a guest. That weekend, the friend was awakened by the sound of an ax hitting wood; Reagan was famous as a recreational chopper. The friend looked out to find Ronnie chopping down a tree outside the guest bedroom window, because, Ronnie said, it spoiled the symmetry of the view. So here's Reagan's signature quote, as far as I'm concerned: "A tree's a tree. How many more do you need to look at?"

What an evil man. I do not miss St. Ronald. Give me a St. Arnold instead (St. Arnold is a local microbrew, though not so micro as it once was).

Steve: flogish: verb: to feel sickened by the need to hit someone....

"Trees cause more pollution than automobiles do." Reagan '81

I remember someone at the local college campus hung a sign on a tree before a Reagan visit that said, "Shoot me before I kill again!"
