What Would Jesus Pack?

(WHAS11) - Do guns have a place in church? You might be surprised at some peoples’ answer. In fact a Valley Station church is asking members to bring their guns to a church event.

Not only are members encouraged to bring their guns to the New Bethel Church, they're also encouraged to bring friends with guns to church.

The pastor of the church says it's a "celebration" of our second amendment right to bear arms but as you can imagine, the debate has everyone talking.

Pastor Ken Pagano of the New Bethel Church in Valley Station is hosting what he's calling an "open carry celebration" at the church on Saturday, June 27th.
OooOOhhhhhhHHHh KkKkkaAAAAAAaaaaayyyyyy......

Someone needs to tell them that "blessed are the peacemakers" did not refer to a Colt single-action revolver.

Colt? Certainly not.

Smith & Wesson is what Jesus would shoot.

There is something seriously wrong with that preacher's brain bone. When I was growing up, you couldn't even hunt on Sunday.

But if you use a gun, Bryan, you can enforce peace! With emphasis! Like a pistol shot at the end of each sentence!

Mahakal, shared that youtube around. Made me laugh.

No hunting on Sunday?! What about shopping... hunting down bargains? Coupons?

Sorry, suburban joke, Sorghum, not having grown up where guns were a functional tool to use...

There seems to me a lot more boneheaded preachers coming out of the woodwork recently, especially this guy. (And, talk about stupid, which state just allowed loaded guns on campus, for God's sake?!)
