HAILEY, Idaho, March 11 A house cat in Hailey, Idaho, momentarily turned on its owner, inflicting wounds severe enough to send her to an area hospital for treatment.

The spontaneous attack occurred Wednesday when someone brought a strange cat to the unidentified woman owner's apartment. The presence of the new cat sent her cat into a mad frenzy that led to 20 bite wounds on the cat owner, the Ketchum (Idaho) Mountain Express said.
