Surprising how some Republicans feel gleeful that this thwarted terror attack will help them look tough and the Democrats look weak. But how manipulated was the timing to expose this plot? Did Bush again blow the Brits' cover and force their hand? At least Cheney got in an unusual speech about the wimpy flaccid white-flag waving Democrats before the alert was activated.
The blogosphere begins to sift through the reports and wonder if this is a 'cock-up' because things don't seem to add up.
