“In spite of what he said was pervasive corruption in the White House, Charlie Rangel, the dean of New York’s congressional delegation, said today he wouldn’t want President Bush impeached. ‘God forbid!‘ he said.” The reason?
“I would vote against impeachment of Bush too because the corruption of the Vice President Cheney would even be worse,” Rangel said.

both of 'em at the same time, or neither, i say. from what i read, that's actually doable.
we can't afford anybody whom either bush or cheney would pick as a replacement if we tried to get rid of one of them at a time.
Exactly. Anyone like good ol' faithful John McCain as a handpicked VP would jump start his campaign again.
Let's see... Bush impeached, Cheney becomes prez and pardons Bush. Cheney chooses McCain and then quits for health reasons, McCain pardons Cheney for the good of the nation....
if cheney gets pardoned, can we make him talk? putting up with 5 or 6 years of president mccain might be a small price to pay for that.
Wouldn't that be lovely? But Cheney spilling the beans will never happen. He's so into operating in the shadows he's forgotten how to share information. Everything involving him is secret....
