Slavery is good.

Well, darn. Was told this was a parody site. It made so much business sense!

In fact, slavery would be excellent for business today, says the WTO:
""Full, untrammelled stewardry is the best available solution to African poverty, and the inevitable result of free-market theory," Schmidt told more than 150 attendees. Schmidt acknowledged that the stewardry program was similar in many ways to slavery, but explained that just as "compassionate conservatism" has polished the rough edges on labor relations in industrialized countries, full stewardry, or "compassionate slavery," could be a similar boon to developing ones."

Well, tell us how it works out, will you?

The part of slavery that is wrong is that you aren't free to leave.

If you want to work for free or work for shelter and food that's your choice, but you should never be denied the right to leave if you want to.

Ownership of another person is wrong, period.

There must be a bizarre move to resurrect slavery as a good thing somewhere. I've been getting hits on this post from all over.
