"There is no [ugly atrocity] that hath not some [symmetry] in the proportion." - NOT-Francis Bacon. Coulter's atrocity is in her mouth... specifically, what comes out of it.
You did me a favor, though. You reminded me to google liberal economist Max Sawicky, formerly of MaxSpeak, and sure enough, he's blogging again, at EconoBlog. (Perhaps he has been for years; I don't know.) Why is Max relevant? Because he used to wax eloquent about how attractive he found Ann Coulter. There's no accounting for taste...

Maher is who he is, and I have a feeling one can take him or leave him, but not change him.
Over at Kay's Thinking Cap, one commenter remarked that s/he wanted to found a religion based on the things Maher teaches. I warned him/her to be careful s/he did not end up suffering Maher-tyrdom...

I've never understood her appeal .. to wingnuts or to men in general. She's too snarky, too bony, too ... whatever. (Too blond :D, etc.)
Too fake. I don't understand the appeal of Bill Maher either. He makes some occasionally good points but he's a pig.
Yes, I know Maher is piggish in behavior, I've seen the stories, but he still can make people laugh even while being hit with the truth.
So I put up the video...
