How can this be?

A oil pipeline without Cheney's handprints all over it?

New Delhi, April 16 Defying US pressure, India and Pakistan are set to go ahead with the tri-nation pipeline that will bring Iranian gas to their shores with Petroleum Minister Murli Deora expected to visit Pakistan next month.

Deora's brief would be to negotiate the transit fee with Pakistan for the transfer of Iranian gas through Pakistani territory, official sources said.

The issue was last discussed when Deora, in his meeting with Pakistan Prime Minister Shaukat Aziz on the sidelines of SAARC summit here early this month, expressed India's reservations over 'high charges' demanded by Islamabad.
