Read a Iraqi woman's point of view. She hasn't posted since August 5th and we have no idea what has happened to her.

I keep my fingers crossed for Riverbend. I know she knew some other Iraqi bloggers, and I'm wondering if anyone has cross-checked to see if they've had contact.
People have asked about her on Eschaton comments occasionally, but I have no idea if any attempt at contact has been made.
Good idea about the other Iraqi bloggers though.
I've been worried about Riverbend. Being out there on her blog may simply have become too dangerous in a situation in which you really don't even know who is most likely to try to kill you. I hope she is safe and merely quiet for the moment.
