When I lived in Michigan I knew a builder who made houses that looked like they came straight out of Middle-earth; I'd love to see what he could do with this idea.
Hiya, MB! I remember a discussion about the round door in the LoTR film, and the difficulties of hinging something so circular... but wouldn't it be a blast to live in such a well-insulated hobbit hole?
Sent this article to family and was instantly informed that the design was WRONG. ( Not to say we're fans or anything.) As I recall, there was a long hall ....
