TPM Muckraker says goodbye to the 109th Congress, and says hello to the 110th.
"What will the 110th Congress bring? More muck, we hope. The FBI's anti-corruption squad is bigger than ever and roaming the Hill, and Democratic congressional investigators are just cracking their knuckles and getting out their subpoena forms. Our muck rakes mayn't be fit for service anymore -- we'll likely need shovels, don't you think?"
All I can add is that while the Democrats now have power, they must keep their noses clean, their minds focused on why they are there, and their snouts out of the trough, or we will be just as merciless to them as we have been to these Republican Congresspeople who have been so horribly corrupt, greedy, and indifferent to the American people.
