Did you know that Barnes and Noble gave 81% of their $129,680 to the Democrats? But Curves gave 100% of $177,300 to the Republicans. Good to know who to do business with!
Considering that no corporation, not even a bookstore chain, does anything that does not involve a monetary interest, can one follow the implications in reverse? I.e., does this mean that B&N has a proprietary study stashed away that shows that Democrats read more books than Republicans? :)
Oh, great. How many other batshit fundie wingnut businesses are out there that I must put on my list not buy from?
Btw, Eric Prince is also a major fundie who has funneled megabucks into the Blackwater/Cheney/Fundamentalist connection. http://rantsfromtherookery.blogspot.com/2007/04/origins-of-blackwater.html

I saw a car the other day with a "Vote Democratic" bumper sticker and a sticker that said "I [heart] Curves."
I nearly pulled the woman over to explain exactly what she was funding with her Curves membership.
IIRC, the owner of Curves is of the most batshit fundie wingnut variety.

Ellroon -
There are many sites dedicated to tracking who is blue or who is red. I generally use buyblue.org for my shopping decisions.
After the 2004 election, for instance, I have not made a single purchase from Amazon.

Tengrain
