Al-Sadr, in Iran, hiding in Iraq, fleeing or just waiting?

Juan Cole goes carefully through the press reports and interviews and ends with this:

The press record shows that Muqtada is in hiding inside Iraq, not in Iran. It also suggests that he has ordered his Mahdi Army to keep a low profile during the present security operation.

But we'll see. Stay tuned.

I don't think Bush will like this. He needs his excuse to bomb Iran in a hurry, what with all the piled up ships in the Persian Gulf and stuff....
