While the 'Net and books are not really mutually exclusive, it really is hard to maintain a balance.

True. My son keeps trying to tell us how fun his Kindle is... but I kinda like my paper books. I can carry them anywhere, and there's no battery to run down...

God, I'm antique.

I'm trying to get started on Lisa Randall's Knocking On Heaven's Door, but here I am, stylus in hand...

I just finished the latest Louise Penny The Nature of the Beast, Zone One by Colson Whitehead, The Good War by Studs Terkel and a forgettable and badly written mystery. Starting The Amazing Adventures of Kavalier & Clay that I found at a garage sale...

'The Good War'is long, intense and a real education about WWII the one we mostly did NOT get in school. Whew!

Penny has a new book? I'll read it when the library copy is available. In fairness L bought all her books in the past, but that was before I was living on SocSec and savings...
