Feynman... wow, does that bring back memories. I studied physics from the Feynman lectures (still in print, I believe) and the Berkeley series; I still have the books and began rereading Feynman a couple of years ago but newer things to read soon pre-empted my attempt.

For a good time, google "Feynman processor" ... for a really good time, read the book (jaw-droppingly strange!), or read any article you can find on quantum entanglement. Worth your time, if you're into the oddest of the odd in physics!

I read his personal books and enjoyed them... but I tremble at trying out physics books having never taken that science. Maybe I'll just peek....

"Fake cell phone towers!"

Now I'm really reminded of Pratchett's ghostly fake "clacks" that appeared in Going Postal...

The Feynman Lectures can be formidable even as (relatively) clearly as he spoke and wrote. And they are of course out of date by now, though he was almost prescient in some of his forward-looking thinking.

Gotta start reading Pratchett. You and (I think it was Bryan) said he was good. Still enjoying Louise Penny by the way.
