Someone had a take on the present activities. Elon is brought in to really wreck up the place, pull the plug on everything, disrupt the day to day governing. Then he's "fired" by Trump, who then pardons him. Apologies all around, with promises to fix things. But they never do. The Republicans get what they want.

Since Trump can only pardon federal offenses, could states start suing Elon directly?

His method is to poison the channels of public information. With a fascist the problem is never how best to present the truth to the public but how best to use the news to deceive the public into giving the fascist and his group more money or more power.
