I don't know if my mother ever had an abortion, or if Mom and Dad were both very careful and very lucky. But I do know that in the days before the blood type inconsistency between mother and fetus had been solved medically, Mom would have DIED if she had attempted another pregnancy. <br /><br />Get that, you bastards out there? You would have KILLED her if you had forced her to sustain a second pregnancy. And yes, in that event, if I could find you, I'd KILL you in well-justified revenge. There is no forgiveness in me for the utterly unnecessary murder of a living, breathing adult human being whose humanity no one on either side of the issue could dispute.<br /><br />Some issues are IMHO completely beyond debate. A woman's reasons for choosing abortion are so emphatically in that category that I grow angry when the question is brought up.
