I wish they had chosen a less inappropriate song for background. Lunar eclipses have nothing to do with the (sadly misnamed) "dark side" of the moon. Yes, I know; I'm being picky.
Yeah, I thought the song was silly. But they probably googled moon and songs and it came up. Maybe Holst's The Planets Suite might have been more appropriate... except the moon isn't a planet.
