It was just a typo. Actually, the man was carrying one of Sir Terry Pratchett's Discworld novels, and thus had 44 WIZARDS in his pants.
Now THAT would REALLY be magic!
I wonder if the see-through scanner actually was used on him... it would have been amazing!
