McCain is weirdly superstitious to the point of changing the campaign headquarter's elevator's number 13 to M.

So who gets to tell him our flag has ... THIRTEEN stripes?

    The Presidential seal has an olive branch with 13 leaves and 13 olives. There are 13 arrows. There are 13 letters in the motto.

    The designers went over board to remind people about the number of original colonies.
